Black Coffee is ready to return to Italy with a show that promises to be a unique opportunity to experience the energy and magic of one of the most important artists in the global electronic music scene, whose DJ sets have conquered some of the world’s most prestigious festivals and clubs.

Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, better known as Black Coffee, is a globally renowned, multifaceted and visionary artist within the electronic music scene. His distinctive style blends traditional African rhythms, jazz influences and the evolution of South African house music, creating a refined sound recognized worldwide. His first major international recognition came in 2003 with his participation in the Red Bull Music Academy, a key springboard for his career. With his debut album Black Coffee (2005), he established his musical identity thanks to tracks such as Superman and Turn Me On, which marked his rise within the South African scene.

Collaborations with artists such as Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys and Usher further strengthened his central role in contemporary electronic music. In 2015, Black Coffee began gaining global recognition with appearances at major festivals including Ultra Miami, Tomorrowland and Coachella. Within just a few years he became one of the most in-demand performers in the world, holding a five-season, 21-week residency at Hï Ibiza, the island’s leading club, while continuing to perform in clubs, events and festivals across five continents and 82 countries every year.

Among the most significant milestones of his career is the historic sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in 2023, featuring an innovative 360-degree stage and a 12-piece orchestra, a symbol of his ongoing artistic evolution. In 2022 he won the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album with Subconsciously, becoming the first South African artist to receive this honor. Over the years he has also received numerous prestigious awards, including BET Awards, SAMA Awards and DJ Awards, confirming his status as one of the most influential figures in the global electronic music scene.
