And nothing will be better than New Year’s Eve at Amnesia Milano, the party that starts when many will already be heading home. At exactly one o’clock, Amnesia Milano music and its lights will be ready to come alive, with a line-up featuring Davide Squillace, Sante Santone, Blacksun, YOUniverse, White Off and Marc Fabregas.
For many years, Davide Squillace has made a difference with his productions for labels such as Desolat, Hot Creations and Moon Harbour, as well as his sets at festivals like Glastonbury and Time Warp. The most important example of his eclecticism? Creating This And That, a creative lab designed to develop projects of various kinds, both artistic and conceptual. In recent years, Sante Santone has increasingly gained the attention of audiences and industry professionals alike, thanks to a musical style dominated by Tech House and showcased in releases for heavyweight labels such as Hot Trax and Solid Grooves.
Blacksun’s sets are always a guarantee, thanks to his undeniable musical knowledge, his ability to read the dancefloor and create a true sonic connection with the crowd—qualities that have long made him one of Amnesia Milano’s most appreciated periodic residents. YOUniverse is a Turin-based duo strongly influenced by ’90s electronica and hip-hop: their style is a refined and focused form of House, which they deliver both on the dancefloor and through their releases, particularly those on their own label, Shout! Label. White Off explores every shade of electronic music, without ruling out variations on the theme or contaminations with other genres such as hip-hop, jazz, soul and even rock—typical of someone who approached music at a very young age and immediately understood it would be a lifelong companion. Marc Fabregas undisputed strength is placed in his versatility, thanks to years of study and musical research: he knows how to fluctuate between house and techno, the related subgenres, old skool and modernism.
